Cardio the key to getting fitter faster and burning fat
You probably know cardio as running, cycling or using an expensive piece of exercise equipment such as a cross trainer or treadmill. You probably think it takes a long time and that you have to stay in the 'fat burning' zone throughout the exercise session in order to burn your body at away.
Well I have news for you. There is a much faster way to torch body fat. Using only your bodyweight or a few inexpensive pieces of equipment, such as a skipping rope, you can complete your fat burning, fitness building session in as little as 20 minutes. This type of high intensity training has been proven time and time again to lower body fat at a much quicker rate than long slow so called fat burning exercise.
The thing is, high intensity is the key. This will not work if you just go through the motions and become slack while training. You need to put in a full effort. The results will speak for themselves and I am talking in a matter of a couple of weeks you will start to see results!
What you have to do is decide exactly what type of exercise you are going to choose. You can run, cycle, cross train, skipping rope, star jump, do burpees, do step ups or run on the spot as quickly and as hard as you can. Or choose any other method of raising your heart rate. I prefer to swap around at each different training session, or even alternate within the same workout for variety. It doesnt matter. What does matter is that you have to go hard for the allotted time. Your heart rate must climb and you must be huffing and puffing. No slackers allowed! As you get fitter, you will go harder, this never gets easy, but believe me, you will soon start to enjoy the feeling of power and endurance that this type of exercise will give you.
