Protein Shake Ideas
Please select the recipe that fits into your nutritional plan. Quantities of protein powder should be selected to fit your individual serving size, and of course, only add fruit, yoghurt etc if is allowed in your meal plan.
The Latte
1-2 scoops of vanilla protein powder
150-200ml of water
1 tsp of coffee
Optional vanilla yoghurt according to your meal plan
Blend, shake or stir as per your protein powder instructions.
Berry Smoothie
1-2 scoops of vanilla or chocolate protein powder
berries (serving size as per your meal plan) use frozen, fresh or combination
Strawberries are yum as are raspberries, blackberries etc
100ml water
optional vanilla or berry yoghurt according to your meal plan
Best blended to smish up the berries. Yum!!
Banana delight
1 ripe banana
1-2 scoops of protein powder-I like vanilla, but have heard it is good with chocolate or strawberry as well
150ml water
optional yoghurt (your choice of flavour) according to your meal plan
Blend till all smooth and creamy. Enjoy! This is one of my favourites
Cinnamon Surprise
1-2 scoops of protein powder
cinnamon to taste
150ml water
optional vanilla yoghurt according to your meal plan
Shake or blend together. Something a bit different, but easy to prepare
